Hi, I'm Anysia!
I'm the owner and maker behind Once Upon A Making. I'm also a wife, mom of three, and a full time college student born and raised on the beautiful island of Guåhan (Guam). I love Jesus, Disney, romanticizing every day life, and finding joy in the little things.
I've always loved creating and designing, making things aesthetically pleasing. Whether it's a birthday, a disney trip, or really any reason to celebrate, I'm going to do the ABSOLUTE MOST lol. I love bringing ideas to life and creating experiences that we'll remember and making ordinary moments feel a little bit more special. That love for creating is what started Once Upon a Making.
My grandma encouraged me for years to learn how to sew, but I was always so intimidated by it. For fun, I picked up a sewing machine late January of this year (2026), and it felt so incredibly natural. Looking back, I wish I had started sooner.
I love to turn fabrics into one-of-a-kind bags and accessories that are both functional and full of personality! Maybe it's the bag you take on your first Disney trip, the one you can literally never go without, or a gift that reminds you of a loved one. My hope is that every handmade piece becomes a part of your favorite memories and brings a little joy every time you reach for it.
